  1. Heat around an inch of oil in a skillet on the stove over medium-high heat.
  2. In a big bowl thoroughly mix flour, 4 teaspoons salt, two teaspoons black pepper, five-spice powder, and paprika. At a 2nd large bowl, whisk together eggs and water. Season chicken wings with salt and black pepper, then coat with flour mix. Dip wings in egg wash, the dip for a second time in the flour mixture. Working in batches, fry coated chicken in the hot oil until medium golden brown. Transfer cooked wings to well prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining chicken.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, and soy sauce. Dip each chicken wing in sauce, and return to the baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or just until the chicken is cooked through. Cool slightly before serving.
